Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park was established on June 25, 2002. It is co-invested by six shareholders, including Minhang District Government, Shanghai Zijiang Holdings, Shanghai Alliance Investment Co., Ltd and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. With the advantages of education, science and technology, human resources, capital and industry, Zizhu is a new module of Science Park adopting market operation method. Its first phase covers 13 square kilometers, consisting university area, R&D base, and Pujiang Forest Peninsula as the residential and supporting area.
Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park is located near the Huangpu River and enjoys convenient transportation network to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Pudong International Airport, Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai South Railway Station and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port etc. by the Metro line 5, Metro line 15 (under planning), A4 Express Way, Pudong International Airport Express Way, Humin Road, Lianhua Road, Hongmei Road, Outer Ring Elevated Road, Yan'an Elevated Road, Huhang Express Way, Huning Express Way etc.
