FUNCTIONS Part I (authorized by the government)
1. Issue the Certificate for Export-oriented Enterprises with Foreign Investment
2. Issue the Certificate for Hi-tech Enterprises with Foreign Investment
3. Examine annually the exported-oriented enterprises with foreign investment and hi-tech enterprises with foreign
investment
4. Operate Minhang District Complaining Center for Enterprises with Foreign Investment
5. Organize enterprises to take part in various commodities fairs (or exhibitions) such as the Guangzhou Export
Commodities Fair, East China Export Commodities Fair
6. Offer official seal as the department in charge of foreign invested enterprises
FUNCTIONS Part II
1. Introduce China’s investment environment and related policies, laws and regulations on foreign investment
2. Organize the members to exchange experience and information, strengthen cooperation and promote mutual
development
3. Investigate the difficulties and problems exiting in the members, report the members' requirements and advices
to the government, protect the legal rights of the members and put forward suggestions of improving investment
environment and operation conditions
4. Provide consulting service to members or investors
5. Provide various training courses, lectures, seminars and investigations for the administration personnel in
foreign invested enterprises
6. Publish the news report of the Association, reflecting the activities of the Association and raise the popularity
of the Association and its members
7. Assist the members to take part in various commodities exchanges
8. Deals with related matters entrusted by the government and members
9. Organize various types of get-together parties, promote the mutual understanding and support between the
enterprises and government, and enhance the friendship and cooperation among the enterprises.
